Privacy Policy — FindUrColleges

Privacy Policy

How FindUrColleges collects, uses and protects your personal data — and the rights you have under India's DPDP Act 2023.

Introduction

FindUrColleges ("we", "our", "us") — the specialist medical-admissions division of FindUrCollege.com, operating from Pune since 2014 — is committed to protecting the privacy of students, parents and visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use findurcolleges.com or contact us by phone or WhatsApp, how we use it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

Last updated: 21 May 2026.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide MBBS / MD-MS admissions counselling — calling or messaging you to discuss Management Quota, NRI Quota and Paid Seat options, evaluating eligibility, shortlisting NMC-recognised deemed universities, and scheduling your free consultation. Anonymised usage data helps us improve the website. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We share limited information (such as name, NEET score and course interest) with a partner college only when you explicitly ask us to process an admission enquiry on your behalf, and only to the extent required to secure your seat. We never share your data with any party for their own marketing.

4. Data Security

All form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and processed through Web3Forms. Access to your enquiry data is restricted to the counsellor handling your case. We do not store payment information on our servers — college tuition is always paid directly to the institution.

5. Cookies & Analytics

findurcolleges.com uses cookies for essential site functionality and, with your consent, for analytics and advertising. Our analytics run under Google Consent Mode v2. A consent banner appears on your first visit with Accept All and Reject options. Until you choose, Google Analytics runs in cookieless mode and Meta Pixel is set to fbq('consent','revoke'). On Accept, both tracking systems begin recording normally. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage (key: fuc_consent_v1). You can change your mind at any time — clear site data or use the Reset consent choice link.

6. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, WhatsApp +91 91126 50438 with the subject "Privacy Request", or email [email protected]. We respond within 7 working days. To stop outreach, reply STOP to any WhatsApp message.

7. Data Retention

Contact information is retained for up to 3 years from your last interaction, or until you request deletion. Documents shared for admission are deleted within 90 days of admission. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. After these periods, data is anonymised or deleted unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at NEET aspirants (typically 17+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a minor's data has been shared without consent, contact our Grievance Officer for immediate deletion.

9. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021 and the DPDP Act 2023, you may raise any privacy complaint or data request with our Grievance Officer via WhatsApp +91 91126 50438 or our Contact page. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 working days.

10. Third-Party Links

Our site links to college websites and government counselling portals (mcc.nic.in, kea.kar.nic.in, comedk.org). These sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices. Always verify fees and timelines on official sources.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve or the law changes. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
