Muslim Minority Quota note: the 75 Reserved seats are for candidates who legally belong to the Muslim minority community in India and possess a valid minority certificate as mandated by counselling authorities. The tuition under this quota is identical to the standard paid-seat fee — the advantage is a smaller, more accessible competition pool of ~75 seats vs the full all-India counselling pool.
NEET 2026 Cutoffs & Closing Ranks for HIMSR Delhi
For direct admission via the paid-seat, minority or NRI quota, NEET rank is not the gate — NEET qualification is. As long as your scorecard reads “Eligible” against your category (50th percentile for General; 40th for reserved categories), you can legally apply. Below qualifying percentile, no quota can place you.
There is no single fixed “closing rank” for HIMSR Delhi. As a constituent of Jamia Hamdard (deemed-to-be-university), its MBBS seats are allotted on NEET-UG All India Rank through Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) centralised counselling at mcc.nic.in. The rank at which the last seat closes shifts every year and every round with the seat matrix, applicant pool, and category/quota.
- All India Quota (AIQ) deemed seats — allotted purely on NEET-UG merit via MCC; the most competitive entry rank.
- Paid-seat / management quota — accessible to NEET-qualified candidates regardless of rank.
- Muslim Minority Quota — smaller pool (75 seats for eligible minority candidates), typically more accessible rank than the open deemed pool.
- NRI quota — open to NRI/OCI/PIO and sponsored Indian candidates; allotted via MCC at a more accessible rank against the USD fee structure.
MCC conducts allotment in four sequential rounds — Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a Stray Vacancy round. MCC does not publish a standing closing-rank table; it releases the official seat matrix and round-wise allotment results each session. Always confirm the current-round position on mcc.nic.in — or ask our team for a free NEET-rank eligibility check.
Clinical Exposure: Hospital Bed Count & Internship Stipend
Clinical exposure — the volume and variety of patient cases an undergraduate rotates through — is decisive in medical training. The Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary (HAHC) Hospital draws patients from across north India, giving undergraduates a tertiary-care case-mix rare at private medical colleges.
- 710-bed total capacity, organised across Block A and Block B
- 24×7 operations with full-time consultants and a dedicated emergency wing
- Departments include Surgery, OB-Gyn, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Medical Genetics — covering the full undergraduate clinical rotation in one campus
- Delhi location — national patient inflow + exposure to high-acuity referral cases from across north India
Internship & stipend: the MBBS spans 4.5 academic years plus a 1-year Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) at HAHC Hospital. Interns receive a monthly stipend as fixed by the institution under the prevailing NMC / Delhi norms — ask our counsellors for the current verified figure.
How to Apply: MCC Deemed / State Counselling Process
Eligibility Criteria for 2026
- Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology
- Qualify NEET-UG (NTA) — scorecard must read “Eligible” against your category (50th percentile General; 40th reserved)
- Minimum age 17 by 31 December of the admission year
- Muslim Minority Quota: valid religious minority certificate as mandated by counselling authorities
- For NRI seats: a qualifying first-degree NRI sponsor relationship
Required Documents for Counselling
- NEET-UG scorecard, Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates, transfer & migration certificates, photo ID
- Minority quota: valid minority certificate (Muslim) per counselling authority requirements
- NRI category: sponsor’s valid passport and visa, embassy certificate confirming NRI status, and a legally binding sponsorship affidavit — we draft and review every document before submission
The process then runs in order:
- Confirm NEET-UG qualification against your category.
- Pick your category — Paid Seat / Management Quota for general candidates; Muslim Minority Quota if you hold a valid minority certificate; NRI Quota for NRI/OCI/PIO or sponsored Indian candidates.
- Register on the MCC portal (mcc.nic.in) under the correct category and complete choice filling — we order your preference list using historical HIMSR allotment patterns to maximise probability in Round 1, Round 2 or Mop-Up.
- Reporting — on formal allotment, report to HIMSR within the window, complete biometric verification, submit originals, and clear the first-year fee through official banking channels.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can I get direct admission without qualifying NEET?
No. Qualifying NEET is the statutory floor for any MBBS admission in India. Without it, no quota — management, paid seat, minority, or NRI — is legally available. There are zero exceptions.
My NEET score is barely above the passing mark. Is it still possible to get a seat at HIMSR?
Yes. Self-financed, minority, and NRI seats run a smaller applicant pool than the government merit list, so the competition is materially lower. The factors that decide allotment are correct category selection, complete documentation, and well-ordered choice filling on the MCC portal — not rank.
Who is eligible for the Muslim Minority Quota at HIMSR?
Candidates who legally belong to the Muslim minority community in India and possess the requisite valid minority certificate as mandated by counselling authorities. The tuition fee under this quota is the same as the paid seat fee — the advantage is a smaller, more accessible competition pool.
Is the MBBS degree from HIMSR the same as a government college degree?
Yes. NMC-recognised MBBS, accepted across India for PG entrance and registration. Regardless of the quota you enter through, you study the same curriculum, rotate through the same 710-bed HAHC hospital, and graduate with the identical qualification.
Can an Indian candidate apply under the NRI quota at HIMSR?
Yes — if sponsored by a first-degree NRI relative (blood-related uncle, aunt, or grandparent abroad) per Supreme Court guidelines, with the sponsor formally undertaking the tuition.
Are hostel and mess included in the ₹16,00,000 tuition?
No. Tuition is purely academic. Hostel runs approx. ₹1,00,000 (Non-AC double) to ₹1,30,000 (AC double) per year, with mess, utility, and deposits billed separately.

Take the right step forward
A low NEET score does not decide the trajectory of a medical career. The management quota, paid seat, minority quota, and NRI quota pathways exist precisely to give qualified, dedicated candidates a fair route into a world-class education. HIMSR Delhi offers that route at a verified ₹16,00,000 tuition — inside the National Capital, plugged into a 710-bed teaching hospital, with a 75-seat Muslim Minority Quota that materially widens access for eligible candidates.
The complexity is in the counselling — not the eligibility. Sponsor affidavits, embassy attestations, minority certificate verification, and choice filling under tight MCC deadlines are where families lose seats they were otherwise qualified for. We handle that end-to-end. Confidential. Transparent. Pay only after admission.
