NEET-PG 2026 Cutoffs & Closing Ranks for AVMC Puducherry

Clinical Exposure: Hospital Bed Count & PG Stipend

AVMC’s attached teaching hospital is a 540+ bed multi-specialty tertiary facility accredited by both NABH (entry-level) and NABL. Located on the Puducherry-Cuddalore corridor, it sustains heavy patient footfall — producing dense, diverse clinical exposure across all 19 PG specialties for residents on rotation. Postgraduate residents take a primary role in OPDs, ward rounds, surgical assists, and emergency duties from day one of their 3-year residency.

How to Apply: MCC PG Deemed Counselling Process

Step 1 — Confirm NEET-PG eligibility

Ensure your NEET-PG scorecard shows “Qualified” status (50th percentile for General, 40th for reserved categories). There are no exceptions.

Step 2 — Structure NRI sponsorship documentation (if applicable)

If applying under the NRI / sponsored pathway for the 5 NRI-eligible specialties, prepare: notarised sponsor affidavit, sponsor's valid passport + visa, embassy certificate or proof of NRI residence, legal undertaking for the entire course fee, and your relationship-proof documents.

Step 3 — MCC PG portal registration

Register under the Deemed University category on the MCC PG portal (mcc.nic.in) within the stipulated window. AVMC's MCC PG College Code is 700459 — note this is distinct from the UG code (200377).

Step 4 — Algorithmic choice filling

Step 5 — Reporting & fee payment

Tuition + Other Fees are paid by Demand Draft favouring “Aarupadai Veedu Medical College” payable at Chennai, or via NEFT / RTGS to the published account. Hostel and Mess fees are paid separately to AMUDH Hospitality (HDFC Bank, Taramani branch) per the prospectus. NRI candidates pay the full course fee in USD at the time of admission.
